When I got my '99, the passenger headlight was out. I changed the coolant today and while it was draining and later, as the engine was warming up, I started dealing with other issues. I figured a burned out bulb so I bought a pair but the new bulb doesn't light either. High or low beams. I thought maybe a bad ground as the alternator was a corroded connection. Checking with a volt meter I'm not getting power to the connection to the light bulb.
It'll be a couple of days before I get back to the truck so I thought I'd throw this out there for the cognoscenti. Any ideas where to look? Is there a problem child area prone to killing power to a headlight? I know Dodges have a tendency for the headlight switch to cause this.
