Hello everybody. I am getting the check engine light and code P0683 on my 2006 6.0. It points to the GPCM, but I just replaced that with a new in the box Motorcaft from eBay.. I cleared the codes and the light came right back. Are the units from Ebay crap or do I have something else wrong? I of course did not look at the plugs in the harness when I replaced it, but the wires looked good. Should I just try another GPCM or is there a test I can perform on the old one?
I saw where you can test the glow plugs, but I can’t find anything on the GPCM. Truck only has 70,000 miles on it.
