Used Ford points to acquire the cleats thinking they would attach to what I now know are H-loop tie down points. Parts guy didn't know the kit would not fit this 2024. I did use the cleats in the past so thought I'd need them. Tired a few of my many straps in the H-loop points and found a selection that work just fine. Returned the cleats for credit.

I don't really use them either, as they stick out too far. I also have some smaller ratchet straps that "hook in" well enough, to just use the backing plates.
So for any who care, I did some digging...and it looks like Boxlink is on its way out as options from what I can see on the configurator system. There's no options for the Boxlink ramps or anything anymore, I think they're just going to using them as tie-down points instead. It looks like they're the same bolt pattern as Boxlink though, so if one wanted to purchase the Boxlink system to get the cleats it should be doable. They're fairly cheap on Amazon, I think the whole system with cleats was going to be $80 for my wife's old F150.
Many threads here. The 2023-2024 do not have Box link. They have a new system for tie downs. So you're not missing anything, there are no parts under the seat, the dealer will be clueless etc. But as mentioned, you can purchase kits that will swap out the base plates for Boxlink sale compatibility.
No worries! New to these trucks myself. My previous was a ‘15. Loved that truck. Have to say though, these new trucks and the technology is just mind blowing. I’ve never had a vehicle this nice.
