My 01 f150 won't start. I'm assuming starter. Solenoid on the firewall is working. Battery is fully charged. Before I take the starter out, I want to see if it has a relay in the fuse box, but the description on the lid doesn't tell me wich one it is. Any help here? Thank you in advance.

Solenoid on the firewall is working.
Before I take the starter out,
The starter relay sends power to the starter solenoid through the big wire wire between the relay and the starter solenoid. If the starter relay is "working" then the problem is at the starter itself. There is no fuse or relay between the starter relay and the starter solenoid.
Might help to describe what you mean by "working" and how you tested it. And, to be sure, when you say "won't start" you mean "won't crank". The starter does not spin the engine when you turn the key.
p.s. you can figure out a lot with a meter or test light. Should be able to narrow things right down to what's not working correctly.
The contact in the starter relay can be bad. The solenoid slug will move but the connection that sends power to the starter solenoid on the starter motor will not be made. A meter or test light will tell you.
That's my question, if there is a relay, where is it? Diagram on the lid of the fusebox under the hood is not helpful.
I know how to test and even jump the relay if I can locate it.

The starter relay is on the firewall. Watch the video. There are no other relays. There are some fuses in the starter circuit which are in the fusebox.
It's from 2003. Hopefully that's close enough. If you have an automatic, there will be a neutral/park safety switch in place of the clutch pedal switch. Good luck. Don't over-complicate it. It's might be the most simple electrical system on the whole truck. Been the same for many many years. No offense intended.
