25' for 20 bucks is a price that makes me happy and 25' should give me plenty enough to replace everything and yeah it's all red so whatever pieces I use for negative I'll wrap in this stuff:

I'm not sure if my battery wiring is stock or not, but previous owner did a lot of upgrades so could be upgraded wiring already, but terminal attachments could be redone for sure. My goal at the moment is to remove all the unnecessary wiring that was added on for accessories that are no longer working/in place like running boards, flood lights, led strips etc and make sure my battery wiring is up to snuff including all grounds so today I'm removing the batteries, CAC tubes, air intake, alternator and whatnot to get better access to the wiring and when I put back together I'm putting in the Bosch 135amp unit to see if the current Napa reman is what's causing my idle rpm issue....and I'll also be upgrading the Airdog motor wiring once I trace it all down.
This is what everything currently looks like:
If you search this site for my handle and the term voltage or wires, you'll find many years of posts.
A 4ga 18-24" hole to hole cable would work fine for you. It can be laid in this manner.
I've used Blue Sea fuses and holders on my truck and threads. You can also use these other fuse holders, although they require and additional cable of a few inches to connect to the battery.. The fuse size of 125a is good, the load is shared with the OE cable. All of this can be found on Amazon.

And the 4g hot wire from alternator to passenger side battery post...........that is to replace what's already there or is in conjunction with?

Where are you? BC?
Find a local Marine, or welding equipment supplier. Princess auto (Cdn version of Harbor Freight) is for cheap tools and trailer light bulbs imho, I wouldn't go to them for parts and materials. Good copper wiring is not cheap anymore.
Also just to note, the wiring laid out in the pictures above, desperately needs some anti chafe and be tied / stood off. I’m sure it is just showing the layout, but wanted to make note for WPG.
Good luck WPG, have fun.

At the moment I'm just looking to make inexpensive upgrades/improvements as come next spring I'll be dropping a PILE more cash into the truck for a rust free cab, engine upgrades, frame blasting/painting etc etc and after a conversation with Automedic Garage I'm seriously considering upgrading the cab to a 2016 which will of course be expensive and require a good deal of modifications, but it CAN be done and it's something I'm going to research and plan out over the winter. Yes kind of crazy, but will make for an amazing truck and a darn good "How To" thread
If you’re going to be re wiring everything, maybe consider waiting until all the mods and just cleaning up what you have for now, just a thought. Make a build thread when you get there.
