CPS Going out.
Hey Guys, I believe I have a Cam Position Sensor going out on my 1996 PSD F-350, every once in a while the tachometer drops to nothing and the engine kinda dies for a second and then picks back up when I'm driving and runs fine. I believe I have snuffed it out to be the CPS (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). Now, I've heard that there has to be a certain year on these sensors for the pickup, but I'm not sure if the guy was blowing smoke or not. Is this true or just a bunch of BS?
