No idea on the bolts.
The brackets secure the top of the radiator. You can see them here, as seen on my 1984:
IIRC, the radiator was mounted differently on earlier models. Don’t quote me on that. Might explain why you can’t figure out where they go on your 1980.
Karl has the right picture for the early radiator brackets as my late 80, making it a 81 uses the same brackets.
The later radiators the tanks have brackets molded in and bolts go thru into the support IIRC.
On the bolts I was going to say caliper locking bolt but I can see it for the hood spring arms not the hinge.
