Hello, so I'm young man trying to fix my truck up it's a 1999 f350 v10 ford. So I've been having this weird grinding sound when I drive over bumbs or potholes when I'm going slow or fast it sounds bad but it's just for a second or two then it goes away and it comes back at random times. Wondering if anyone has suggestions we've taken look at the brakes tired and the wheel house and still can't find a solution. I appreciate the help. First veichle I've own and trying fix her up.
Welcome to the site. Is there a perception of where the sound is coming from? Front / Rear? If a 4x4, try locking the hubs and/or putting in 4 Hi. Any change in sound?
Could be wheel bearings, hubs, brake caliper(s) / slide pin among other things. Need to isolate where it's coming from.

It's coming from the front right haven't locked the hubs, can i drive over 65 with the hubs locked? Brakes and wheel hubs are fine, I can't see any wear and tear of the grinding on a visual inspection.
