New member here I have owned my 1976 SCS for around 30yrs and will be asking questions and looking for recommendations on restoration and possibly parts. I will likely post pictures when I figure out how lol. Didn't realize how rare it was when I purchased it.It came with a 1972 truckcamper which I still have as well. Truck now has roughly 133k miles I purchased at roughly 98k. I am located near Detroit Michigan though I purchased it near Denver so it's not in horrible condition. I seem to have been able to source most to all pieces it is needing however I haven't really dug into it fully yet so. The info I've already read here has been very helpful so Thanks to those keeping this site going. I am nearing retirement and so probably a yr plus off from starting restoration. I still run and drive it on occasion though not as often as I should. If someone is willing to help me post pictures I'd like to. Thanks to all in advance
To attach a pic go to the tool bar on the top of the reply and find the little square with the mountain scene (to the right of the smiley face) and click it. Then browse your device, pick the pic, let it up load, then click Upload.
A couple pics of my 76 SCS. Been working on it pretty steady over the past 2 yrs. All original except for the T-19 4spd that my Dad swapped in. Oh...and the wheels n tires.
Hi and welcome. You'll like it here, a lot of nice folks.
Looking forward to pictures of your truck but until then, what kind of truck camper is the '72? My Amerigo is a '72 too.
