Looking to buy this 1996 Ford F250 7.3 truck, the only thing I worry about is it has a 2 1/2 inch lift kit and there’s a decent amount of positive camber, is this something I can take to a shop to get fixed or is it an easy fix that is not worth worrying about and that I can fix on my own?
TTB and a lift. Ditch the lift I bet the camber is all gone. Or take it to someone who knows how to align a ttb front end and will take the time to use the correct bushing and that may also work. I dont know the magic height of when things go haywire with a lift and a ttb. Some say they have issues with 2 inch lifts others claim no issues with 4 inch lifts.
Depends on how it was lifted. Some folks just stuff bigger springs in. That'll cause positive camber for sure. The better lift drop the pivot point or include new arms $$
If that's the only hang up you have, I wouldn't worry too much. That can be fixed by lowering it back down or loving with the camber. Put a winch bumper up front, that'll help
Rancho lift kit has 3-4" lift and includes pivot drop brackets to correct camber. Pivot drops can be found on fleabay.
Like Edgethis said $$ for cut-n-turned ttb arms + caster/camber bushings
Did they install drop brackets for the pivot ends of the arms?
