So I'm debating about purchasing an ESP for my 2022 F350 CCLB DRW 6.7 that I purchased new from Granger almost 2 years ago.
Truck has 13k miles after those 2 years, and is used mainly for towing the horse trailer, and occasionally the fifthwheel. I'm thinking, the 10/100,000 makes the most sense? At my current rate, I'll hit the 10 years before the 100,000 miles, but I felt like 10yr/85k miles was too little miles in case yearly mileage increases.
Package-wise, anything to know "gotcha"-wise around the plans? For instance, if my CP4 goes out, does my regular diesel warranty cover that? Will the Premium ESP cover that?
Is premium overkill?
So I bought my F350 from Granger last week. Got $375 Ford Cash for the purchase. Today I bought the 6yr 125k Premium ESP and added lighting protection for $100 per Shelby’s suggestion. Used the $375 towards warranty. All in $2090, paid via credit card and got 2% back so $2050. Shelby did it for me seamlessly. Pretty nice.
I recently purchased a 10/100 for my 2021 with 30K miles. I opted for the Base Care because I have an XL and I don't have a lot of the fancy doo-dads that Premium Care covers.

Thanks!
The factory diesel warranty covers the CP4 up to 5yrs/100k. The Premium CARE also covers it (when determined to be warrantable). I personally don't think the Premium is overkill considering all of the expensive components and systems that are throughout these trucks. You can find and compare covered items from all of the available Care plans.
