I sent Ted these questions but haven't heard back. They are in reference to this MOD. How does oil get out from behind the cam plate? Will this still work without the drip rail?
The modification shown above is usually only done when the rocker arm assemblies are pressurized and the drip tube(s) meant to supply oil to the timing chain and DIST drive have been modified/removed.
