CCV Mod

Alright guys I am full of questions today. I am interested in the CCV mod as you can guess. From what I have gathered it seems to be a build it yourself mod. I pretty much understand what it does, but would like some more info so I can figure out if this is something I want to do.

The reasoning for the CCV is basically to mimic how these engines were created, venting the crankcase to the atmosphere. All your doing is returning to that and keeping all the oil mist from your intercooler and boots. I can't think of any reason not to do it. Unless you like oily messes and boots that blow off

No one has mentioned anything to my personally, but I have read other guys experience with them. That is why I inquired about switching to the 6637. Will that fit on my K&N intake tube, and will I have to remove the heat shield?

IIRC it won't fit in the heat shielding. As far as the intake tube you will have to measure and see if it is 4". If so then it should fit since the stocker is 4" as well.

Yes, Sir. I put it together to make it easier for everyone and save you some money. The covers come in yellow and black.
