93 5.0 Speed density

I have the opportunity to get a set of gt40 heads and a trick flow intake from a buddy. I keep seeing people going back and forth about if the speed density can handle it. Would it be able to adjust for heads and intake. Any help would be appreciated

I would add a fuel pressure gauge so you can see what the fuel pressure does at higher loads. If it's falls at higher loads, you can add an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, to help maintain the increased fuel demand. The adjustable FPR is basically a drop in unit, that takes the place of your factory rail mounted regulator.

Those parts will bolt on the motor and not cause any problems for the EFI system, they won't cause any problems because there won't be much power gain and the reason for that is because the stock cam is the biggest bottlneck. The factory 5.0 truck intake is not at all restrictive by the way so the trickflow intake is of no benefit here except for the fact it gets rid of the dual throttlebody's.
Simply upgrading the stock cam and not touching anything else will produce more HP than swapping the other parts and that too can be done without upsetting the EFI system you just have to use an EFI friendly cam.
