Adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

Is there one available for a 5.8? I've found them for the 5.0 but doesn't look like it will fit on the 5.8. Or am I going to have to make the 5.0 fuel rails fit my 5.8? I need to up the fuel pressure to richen up the fuel ratio.

Both motors use the same regulator but there are 2-bolt and 3-bolt versions depending upon the year, earlier motors used a 3-bolt reg while the later motors were 2-bolt.
But be aware this may not be the simple fix you think it is, the computer will immediately counteract increased fuel pressure by reducing injector duty cycle while operating in closed loop.. which is most of the time. So the increased fuel pressure will only richen the fuel map when the motor is running open loop, but that's when you need it anyway.

Factory 5.0 MAF, swapped in a 5.8, running the stock 5.0 computer and electronics, with 21 lb injectors.

Soon going to be swapping in a 89-93 mustang computer..

It is the issue because the computer is programmed for 19lb injectors.

But the 5.0 all stock did the same thing...

I put a new fuel filter, MAF, O2, and TPS on with the new motor too...

These motors do run pretty lean, are you having detonation(pinging) problems?

Yep. Had timming set to 14. Dropped it to 12. Haven't pulled a heavy load yet to see if its still pinging. Have upgraded coil and wires. Plug gap opened a bit.

Would I need a different Spout connector for the 5.8? I have a gray one in there.

The spout is just a jumper plug so color doesn't matter.

Did you have the 21's on the 5.0 too?
