Explorer Wheel Alignment
Had an experience yesterday when I took my 2006 Explorer to have it lined up. The guy worked on it for about an hour and when left the place the vehicle didn't drive any better. Took it back and found that I had a tire separating. In the process of all this I was questioning them about what the alignment showed. They gave me a computer print out of the specs and told me that the 2006 Explorer had no adjustment on the alignment except for adjusting the toe. They said there are aftermarket kits that allow you to adjust the caster and camber but there are none for this model. I'm like "what the h**l"? Is this really the truth. I did a little searching last night and found one for sale that they claimed had just had an alignment and I saw a post where someone claimed they couldn't get the adjustable aftermarket kits and then some Youtube videos that looked like you could adjust it. Can some of you guys that have had experience with this tell me what is going on.
