Help, recently got a 2012 f250 it had a utility bed on it with LED reverse and taillights. I removed the bed and went back with a factory bed, removed LEDs and went back with factory style taillights I got the reverse working properly but the issue I’m have is that turn signals work but don’t work when headlights are on (brake lights also don’t work with headlights on) and brake lights work but blinkers don’t when brake is pressed. Also wiring is butchered from previous owner cutting the harness at the main connector under the frame and made his own harness for the LEDs that were on it.
Your symptoms are of a "bad" or open ground for the rear lights. In factory form, it's labeled as G400 on the schematics. Rear left frame rail or cross-member. I'd suppose that the PO hacked up that part of the circuit and you'll have to restore it.

Be more specific as to the malfunction, including possible variations. Rear turn signals only, front only, both front and rear or what? How about with the headlight switch in the park/running light position?
