1994 e150 . The oil and temp gauge are pegged on high and volt meter pegged low, fuel gauge and speedo work fine. They all malfunctioned at once. I checked all fuses and removed cluster to inspect and clean connections.
All appear ok.Doesn't look like this has instrument voltage regulator.I also ran another body ground.I'm thinking my next step is to replace the instrument cluster??

Reason: spelling
At the instrument cluster body where the printed circuit board receives the factory wiring connectors make sure the ground connections show continuity.
Could be time for an entirely "new" IC but without testing the factory wiring circuits there's no real guarantee that would solve this issue.
If you ground either of those sender wires, their gauges will peg
Unlikely to have a short to ground in both sender wires but that is what I would rule out first
I'd pull the cluster and inspect the wiring back to the senders for shorts to ground
After further checking I discovered non of the gauges are working, I thought the fuel gauge was but it isn't so no temp, fuel, volt or temp, odometer and speedo work. I had ordered used instrument cluster so plugged it in and still nothing. Is there a ground point or a fuse I be missing? bout ready to throw in the towel .
