Gauge cluster not working

Gauge cluster not working
I recently bought an 87 f150 with a 5.0 for little project bit the cluster isn't working, the speedo works obviously and the voltage bit the gas gauge coolant temp and oil pressure isn't working, tried another cluster from the junkyard and when I turned on the key it pined the needles in the same spot as the original cluster, any idea what would cause this? Thanks in advance for any help

no not yet I wasn't sure if a fuse would cause just some of them to not work like that, they also go way past where they should like the gas gauge is pegged way past full

I just unplugged the old and putnin the new I'm not sure where the voltage regulator for it is.

that looks very different from the back of mine but ill look for something like that for sure
