I have a 97 7.3 and the truck ran OKAY before but would randomly cut out and idle rough sometimes and the wiring harness was starting to come apart. I changed the harness and almost ever sensor all from riff raff diesel who claims oem. Went to start it up and now it lopes and shakes so bad I can't even drive it and I hate to let it idle like that. I used AE and have a high icp pressure with engine off warmed up and threw a p1211 code. Any ideas? Don't have a ton of money atm to take it to someone. Thanks!
If you changed the IPR you have air in the system. It takes quite a few miles of driving not idling to purge the air. Every time I open the high pressure oil system I also get that code.
I did hear that but I changed it years ago and ran fine but I don't think that's the problem but hopefully I'm wrong. Wouls that cause the icp numbers to be off??
Start the truck and then look at the numbers. Im sure the sensor is not some type of precision scientific sensor probably just reading 100psi with it off because.. Reasons. Start the truck and look at ICP and duty cycle.
That was taken right after the other pic so truck was pretty much fully warmed up coolant was around 195 I think. I heard if it's 700 like mine it's going into default mode? This is driving me nuts but I know it's going to be something pretty simple
