Bed wood
I am getting ready to replace my bed wood. I have laid it in and it is extending past the rear crossmember 1/8-1/4 in past it. Is this normal or do I need to trim it down?

It can not extend past for a couple of reasons.
The tailgate likely wont close nor will the strip within the link bolt in where it should.
