wheel balance
Ok, what chain would you trust to balance your alloy wheels and use the proper type of weights for that wheel? I seem to have lost all of my weights need a good place to go.

I went up to Midas, they were the cheapest. Just pick any reputable place, and ask them some questions when you drop it off. Also, when you get home, loosten the lug nuts, and re-torque them since they really like their impact wrenches. You don't want to get stuck on the side of the road and not be able to get the wheel off.

I had to take my 97 Expy to NTB four times before the weights would stay on the alloy rims. I wondered if there was something different about the edge of those particular (alloy rally wheels) rims that wouldn't take weights. Ultimately, NTB used stick-ons because throwing weights three times off one wheel was enough.

If you have a TiresPlus near you, I would highly recommend them for everything. I have purchased at least 3 sets from them and had them do a brake job for me. It is good to make acquaintence with a shop like them. They give me great deals. (I'm not on their payroll either 
)

I had problems with the Ford dealer...they couldn't get it right(vibration about 75 mph)...stopped by Sears and everything is sweet again (the weights are in completely different spots and sizes than the dealer was using).
