Honestly doesn’t matter except when doing radiator supports and front cab mounts. Could pinch the gap for fender to door gap if large height difference. So maybe do those 4 together

worst case, the retained nut breaks loose. Grind it out. Go to Lowe’s and buy replacement bolt/nut. Back in business for a few bucks.

Grinding/cutting them out isn’t fun. Not a game ender. Just frustrating
Thank you for the advice. I might just have to give it a shot as I really don't want to pay $2k in labor for something that seems pretty straight forward & simplistic.

Think about how long it takes to do the job. Let’s say 30 minutes per bushing, 10 bushings would be 5 hours. Labor rate by me is $170/ hr. Do the math and you will see the $2K including the bushings is not too far out of line. I would make sure to use a reputable shop that has done them before. And 30 minutes each is pretty fast!

Be sure to use the CORRECT bolts. They have a pre determined tensile strength and this is very important! New ones should come with the bushings. The silicone bushings from S&B come with them.

my mechanic didn't charge anywhere near that much, it was $1k labor for the Energy Suspension poly kit install, u-joints, bearings, and installing the electric steps.
