6.0 overheat problems

i have a 2004 f-350 dually 4x4 150k recently my fan hit the fan clutch wires and stopped working so i replaced the fan clutch and the water pump and the thermostat OEM i just bought the truck 6 months ago and i wasnt sure if those parts had been changed im not sure when the radiator cracked but i also replaced that OEM a week after fan clutch problem
i live in phoenix and its 110 every day right now its not uncommon i put 300 miles a day on it my best friend died a year ago and i inherited his snap on MODIS scanner i used to work for him and used the scanner just to check codes so i have it connected to my truck to monitor the temps right now and they seem very disturbing to me ECT reaching 192-214-217 in the city during peak of hot day EOT 235-255-266 i could really use some advice
also i recently added a BANKS monster exhaust 4 inch from turbo outlet other that that its stock
im pretty sure it got hot when the clutch stopped working it cracked radiator by the top hose inlet and squirted sprinkles on my windshield it is brutally hot here this time of year

Post in the 6.0 sub forum in the Diesel section. I think your oil cooler is clogged. Check with the 6.0 cult.

That delta between ECT and EOT is disturbing, oil temp should be within 10° of coolant temp when everything is up to operating temperature. That pretty much means your oil cooler is clogged and needs to be replaced - there's a place in Georgia that has vids on how to clean them but not everyone can do it.

While you're replacing it, it's a GREAT idea to do the oil cooler relocation if the kit is still available (it's been a long time since I looked). The stock location of the oil cooler is in the engine valley between the cylinder heads and under the intake, great for space saving but TERRIBLE for heat. The relocation kit moves it out of the engine valley and IIRC to the passenger side of the engine compartment, while still using the stock cooler just in a different location.

The above commenter is correct though, if you post down in the 6.0 section they'll be able to help you out better.

Yes, the 6.0 cult/ section of the forum is where you want to go with this question. Your deltas are way out of range so you’ll need a good coolant system flush and a new oil cooler. That ain’t the 6.0 god speaking to his loyal followers, it’s merely experience. Sorry.
