My 2021 F350 Lariat was damaged in a tornado on May 25 of this year. Through insurance, my truck was sent in for repairs. After the repairs, the tech that was reinstalling my tailgate did not route the wires correctly. The day that I got it back, I noticed that the tailgate would not open, no matter what I did. Took it back to the body shop. They found that the incorrect routing of the wires caused them to be pinched when closing the tailgate during the reinstall. They were able to get the tailgate to open, but it required two people. One had to press and hold the button on the dash, and the other had to press the button on the tailgate. They ordered a new tailgate harness. It was installed today but they still cannot get the tailgate to function. They said they replaced a switch and something else. But, it still doesn't function. Could anyone provide something else to look at or for? This is getting really frustrating. Unfortunately it has been one thing after another.

the body shop needs to send the truck to the dealer for repairs either on their dime or as an add on to the insurance claim.
