2000 Ford Excursion 7.3d Selling question
2000 Ford Excursion XLT,4WD 7.3 Powerstroke deisel
have 18,000 on a new tranny and 238,000 on the odometer.Have Service records and virtually all new major parts replaced past few years.
I'm 83 on my health is failing.What's the best place to sell the vehicle?

Most people do nation wide searches for used Excursions.... so a site like Autotrader, cars.com might be the right way to go. If you know a broker he might have a buyer in his pocket. If the vehicle isn't being used maybe a consignment at a specialty dealer... that's how I found mine many moons ago.

Most definitely list it here with photos (selling it here is what maximizes the probability of it going to a good home), as well as facebook marketplace and other places listed above. Someone will travel to get a good excursion.

Can't remember where I saw it listed now,
the VIN was provided, so I paid for a CarFax and found out that my truck has been to a Ford Dealer every year for the Annual Texas inspection.
it noted that it had minor damage twice from accidents, one was a fender that was replaced, the other was the driver door which was replaced.
it served as a Fire Truck for 20+ years, all inspections were at the same Ford dealer.... that don't mean they did a good job, just that they saw it.
but, at least I had some info to go on before I flew up to Montana.
