04 No Start when Hot

Seen a lot of these recently, not really looking for a definitive answer as I have broken and will just be paying a mechanic for diagnosis and repair. Just want to learn for the future, maybe help someone, and have a discussion!

I have been having issues with Hot Starting and recently replaced my oil cooler which fixed an issue but not the hot start issue. I have put some images below of running values.

Taken while idling immediately after starting

Taken within first 10 minutes of driving while cruising.

Taken right before parking while cruising (about 20min running).

Taken while idling after parking.

interestingly the truck still started immediately after turning it off this time, usually I have to wait 20-30 mins to start again. I also had the HPOP and both oil rails replaced in November. I wouldn’t be entirely surprised to hear the HPOP broke again as it broke in November while still under a year warranty (ford OEM part).

The truck has not ran well (or at all) in over a month which has been quite aggravating to say the least since its my only vehicle lol. Just want it fixed at this point!

I’m unfamiliar with sct

whats ICP Duty Cycle ?? Assuming it’s meant to be IPR duty cycle but it also has a decimal point that’s not normal reading

where is you ICP located

need to take values in a more controlled way to really dial it in

any codes

I think it is an error with the program and reflects IPR duty cycle as you stated. I would imagine it is just displaying the percentage as a decimal instead of whole number (ie .22 being 22%). I have attached a picture of a longer test I did today not sure if that helps. It was while accelerating at a stop light up to speed (45mph).

i am not sure where it is located… it is stock as far as I am aware
