stalling when coming to a stop
Just put a new trans in my 97 7.3
road ripper 2000 only one I could afford
Ive had the following symptoms:
- tighter than normal steering
- when turning the steering wheel the rpms drop a little.
- battery light comes on when idling, goes off under acceleration and immediately comes back on when letting off the gas.
At idle when I turn the steering wheel the battery light comes on and off. I will attach a video of it.
thinking it might be a torque converter, when I let off the accelerator going down the road the rpm’s will stay where they are until I press the brake. Then Boggs way down when coming to a stop and sometimes the engine will cut out if I stop too fast.
Any help is much appreciated
