Stumped, need help!
My truck is a 97 7.3 4x4 automatic
Been having this issue when coming to a stop relatively fast.. at a downhill grade. My rpms drop to the point where the engine cuts out. I’ll have to muscle the truck to the side in hopes of not getting into an accident and restart the truck. Truck fires right back up.
what I noticed is at idle just moving the steering wheel left and right my rpms dip a little and can hear my power steering pump wine a bit. Not sure if a bad psp is enough to put a load on the belt and stall the motor.
I’ve got a Marty’s efuel kit and keep good fuel pressure, along with an upgraded hpop. New batteries and alternator, Ebpv delete and a few other simple mods nothing crazy.
