Amp for subs?
its kinda like the stuffing in a pillow or blanket
oh, and Crutchfields prices are a little high, but they do have a nice website that'll tell you what fits your car

I agree with Renegadesrun. A 4 ch amp has its place, driving mids, tweets and other fullrange speakers. I was running the JBL Px300.4 in bridged on the rear to sub and 6.5 mids for the front. The bass was clean, but not hard hitting and the amp got hot. Installed a monoblock and the difference is night and day and everything runs nice and cool. Also, if you run a sealed box, you will need more power than a ported box.
You can drop more power on ported with less chance of mechanical failure.
I asked because the 600 doesnt have a subsonic filter, (i dont think) which is needed if the individual runs ported.
better is a matter of preference
you have 2 - 5 OHM subs, so you're not gonna get the 360 x2 you're expecting. most two channel amps can't safely drive a 2ohm load when bridged, so I don't think the punch amp is what you want
