Hi there
Hoping to get some information/direction on what to do with my 93 regular cab short bed f150
It's been sitting for like 13 years or so and I took it in to my guy to do some engine work, new tires, egr valve, new gas tanks etc..
It sounds and rides very well besides what im assuming is an old or worn suspension?. Curious about a cost effective way to mitigate this.
New shocks perhaps? Coils? Trying to decide whats the first step you'd maybe take?

This seems like a contradictory description. To me, sounding and riding well means that the suspension is performing as designed. What are you comparing the ride of this vehicle against?
The bushings are rubber so it is possible that they are dry rotted, cracked or broken. Check and replace whatever looks bad. I would replace the shocks because they have been sitting stationary for 13 years plus however many miles and years they were used before that time.
Easiest and cheapest thing to do is to lower your tire pressure to the minimum PSI you're comfortable with. I run my f350 at 45-50 psi when I'm not carrying a load and it helps out a lot.
