I know this has been covered but I have no luck whatsoever searching this forum. I came up with nothing.
I'm looking at some 20x9 wheels with a +20 offset. if I have this figured right if the stock wheels are 20x8 with a +40 offset, so that would make the aftermarket wheels about 1 1/2" more to the outside correct? 1" plus 20mm. and with 11x35 tires that would put the front outside the fender well, which I don't want. flush is okay but not outside.
Am I right on this? I can't find anyone around here with anything to look at it's just order and hope.
Stock for what? The difference between +20mm and +40mm is 12.6 sixteenths inch or a hair over 3/4", call it 25.2/32". The bigger number with a + is deeper dished.
+ is like most newer stuff where the rim is tucked in towards the brake.
Back space is simply a measure taken from the rims inner lip to the mount surface. It tells one how much of the wheel width is inboard of the mount surface.
Oh come on now we know you want to figure out how put some low pro rubber bands tires and some 24' donks with 4" spacers on your blue HB. Might as well to a Carolina squat while you are at it. LMAO
