I am very confused when it comes to backspacing and offset of wheels, i have searched and looked at the calculators, so I will see if anyone here can help me, I have the 2.5" rough country leveling kit on my '11 supercrew with 305/65r18 Falkens on the stock wheels for now, since the tires, i added the stampede fender flares, now the stock wheels and my falkens sit too far inside the wheelwell, i want to get a new set of wheels to remount my tires on, but i want the new wheels to bring the tires flush with the outside of the flares. Does anyone have a truck done like this or know what will work for me? I am looking at 18x9 XD Spy w-4.53 backspace, would that be close or ? I want a stance that makes the truck look tough!
What is the offset on those wheels. I have 20x9 xd kranks with 5" backspacing and 0mm offset. It sticks them out of the fender a little. Should be a flush fit with the flares. My brother has fuel dunes 20x10 with 5" backspacing and -12mm offset. His stick out more than mine.
Your factory wheels have somewhere around 5.5-6" backspacing and +30 - +44 offset.
Check out this link. It can explain what you need. Offset and backspacing go together. It all depends on the width of the wheel. A 9" wide wheel with 0 offset is the same as 9" wide with 5" backspacing.
The wheels i mentions have a -12 offset, i'll check out that site to see if it will help me understand a little more, kinda one of those things i wanna make the right choice the 1st time so i'm trying to do my research first.

Usually if you go to a tire shop they should be able to tell you if those rims/ tires you want to purchase will fit or not.
