If you think fuel issue, you need to get a fuel pressure gauge and watch that while cranking and running.
Have you verified the coil connections are clean ?
I think we have talked about making sure the fuel pressure regulator is in good shape ?
I had the same thing typed and for got to hit send
If you feel it is a fuel issue you need to get a fuel pressure gauge and get some readings.
What is it when you first turn the key on but do start? Dose it drop when it sits for say a min.?
Then as Max said when happens cranking and then running?
If you pull the hose off the FPR is it wet and what happens to the pressure?
You said you can limp it along you will need to get fuel PSI readings when this happens.

Thank you all so much for your input. I did read all of them and started working through them. I wanted to check the thermostat before replacing the radiator and that seems to have fixed the issue. I have been able to drive the truck several days at 96 degree’s plus with no further issues.
Thanks for letting us know what the fix was.
A lot will ask for help and then just leave not letting us know if it was fixed or not then others come by on a search a few years later with no answer
