Fuel gauge
Hey guys,have 1996 xlt powerstroke with 1997 motor.I took out front tank and tank selector.put in 38 gallon in back.I also have driven diesel e fuel.so plug for front tank tucked in frame,same with plug for tank selector.On back tank cut wiring too tank,on new tank yellow too yellow,same with black,plugged back in harness.know what do I have too do too get fuel gauge working.Any help will really help. Ty

Fuel selector valve has internal switch to verify that valve has moved to rear tank. Hook your valve back up and check what changes at the connector with an ohmmeter.
You need to figure out which pair of wires for selector valve connector need to be connected together.

Understand,took selector out long time ago.I just finally got back tank in,and want too get everything back too normal.I Believe before took out front tank,was switch too rear,before took both front tank and selector ?
