fuel injection
well my 88 got totaled monday and im working on putting my injected 302 into my 83 now ive got the dash and wiring harness out of my 88 and what kind of trouble am i going to run into putting that dash into the 83 and i also need to know where to mount the computer should i cut the metal out from behind the kick panel and put it in there or somewhere else...any help would be appreciated thanx

the dash in the 83 was cracked and had a big hole over the speaker and the dash in the 88 wasn't and i think the interior looks better in the later trucks. but i wont ever do it again it was a pita

on 85 86 f 150 the computer is under the dash just right of the steering colum an left of the ash tray . if u look at where the plug on the fire wall an look back at the dash it would sit right there on a bracket .
