I've got to find a windshield and rubber & trim for my '66 Custom Cab.
So I believe I need:
1. Windshield glass, I want tinted with top strip.
2. Windshield rubber gasket.
3. Trim strip for the rubber weatherstrip.
Anybody bought a good set of these, and where did they come from. I'd appreciate any guidance on this search.
IIRC, I got the seal from DC. Had and reused the original trim so can't help you there. Best advice I can give tho is yes you want the tinted windshield and shouldn't even consider trying anyone other than your local glass place. I see lots of guys searching on line and spending a fortune for shipping etc when it is readily available and way cheaper locally.
The stainless steel trim is made up of 8 pieces altogether. Not reproduced, but lots available used.
I just searched eBay for "1966 Ford truck windshield trim" and I can see at least 4 sets on there, not sure they all include the 4 short connector pieces but they are also available in other ads.
