The short bed was 6.75f I thought...
The 60gal tank is the replacement for the OE tank on a shorted.
If you have someone do the install for you, do them a favor and show up with a pretty empty tank. Bring a 5gal can of fresh diesel when you pick it up. That way you reduce the risk of having that fuel pump run dry.

Can you adjust the 2017 tank size in Forscan. My mpg lie-o-meter and distance to empty definitely both need adjustment. Only concerned with the DTE as it gets closer to empty.
Thought about it but I do not tow long distances. I recently bought an SUV to daily too and may set my truck up for more off road stuff and the stock skid plate is tough as nails (its been extremely tested and replaced before).
I replaced my stock 34? gallon tank with 55 gallon Titan tank. I have 2019 F350 short bed supercrew cab. I cannot recall the foam issue ever causing a delay in filling up. My local Ford dealer is an authorized Titan dealer so it was easy to get the swap.done. NOTE: The new titan tank becomes the lowest point on bottom; they had to remove the shield that came with FX4 package. I would do same upgrade if I purchased a short bed again, very well worth it. Also the biggest benefit is I never drag my camper thru a gas pump anymore; I always land at new campground with at least a third of tank so I can drive around and get lowest fuel price.

I paid $2200 for tank, install and disposal of old tank and shield. One thing; they insisted I drove in with 1 drop of fuel in old tank. No-one wants to lower a tank full of fuel.

Yes, its a simple Forscan update but it ends up working like the original tank fuel gauge in that 1/2 tank on dash does NOT equal half tank of fuel.

What was once called a regular/standard bed (8' bed) is now called a long box, what was once called a short box (6.34" box) is now called a regular box/standard box, and what is now called a short box I would call, a useless box... JMO as I see it...

The fuel gauge, in every car I have owned in 40+ years, would say 1/2 tank yet when I fill up it was always more than 1/2. The fuel measurement systems seem to be much more accurate when above half tank. My 55 tank has same issue.
