Good evening all -
my 2008 F250 diesel will die at random times with no warning at all -
when driving on highway it will sometimes die and restart automatically - at red light it may die also and then easy to restart -
otherwise the truck runs great - no rough idle or anything at all -
did a Sea Foam flush and still happened -
checked battery connections and cleaned -
does anybody think possible bad relay or any other ideas ?
thank to whomever might take the time to help me !
Could be any number of things for the 6.4L. If you’re going to attempt to fix it yourself, you are going to need a scan tool like FORScan with an OBD adapter. These engines are far too complex to just guess unless you have deep pockets. A generic code reader is not going to do much good. In most cases you’re going to need live data. Get a scan tool and repost this on the 6.4 section of the forum. Hopefully you’ll get the help you need.
