I've seen a few posts now about people running different activation temp thermostats so just curious what everyone is running? In +24c, mild humidity ambient doing 110kph unloaded on flat highway my EOT is 197f with ECT at 192f so not sure what kind of thermostat I'm running, but it obviously works good lol.

Thanks
I’d say you’re doing pretty good there. Thermostat should be 190.

Yeah, luckily my delta has always been 5-7 degrees when at full temp, but it's a built up reman with less than 200k kms on it and considering how much I baby it I'm hoping to hit 400-500k before any major internal issues arise. Will most likely go through 20 sets of brake calipers in that time though lol
Hopefully that’s not the case, cause you’ll need rotors too. Eventually you’ll weed out the bad ones and finally get 4 that won’t lock up. Ask me how I know!! 😂

Do you replace pads and rotors as well when you put a new caliper on?

Rotors it depends how bad they get heated up. You can definitely see heat checking if they’re bad, or you feel it in the pedal. Pads I always replace on a lock up.
