1989 F150 engine identification. Casting code.

Hi all. I recently bought a 1989 F150 XLT to restore. It has a 351W non EFI engine which I assume is not the original motor. From what I can see the vehicles were only available in a 5L EFI version. Firstly can I confirm that is correct?

Secondly, assuming the engine is not original I'd like to know what vehicle it originally came from. The casting number behind the starter motor is E9AE-6015-AA-11.

From online research this can be decoded to...

E = 1980's
9 = year 9. therefore made in 1989
A = body type Full Size
E = engine
6015 = part number
AA = part revision number
11 = ???

My queries...
Code A, body type full size.
What type of vehicle does this indicate???

The last two digits 11. I can find no reference to these anywhere online apart from an obscure indication that it might relate to a Ford Futura. Can anyone confirm what these last two digits mean?

Cheers.
