ac issue

I have an 06 F250 with the 6.0, I have replaced the ac compressor, condenser, accumulator, and actuator, I am still not getting very cold or strong ac blow and it fluctuates to heat when I am slowing down, what else could be the issue? it also has a full charge and is not leaking.

There is another thread going on with similar symptoms. Sounds like you've changed damn near everything.

Did you replace the orifice tube filter when you replaced the receiver/dryer and was it put in correctly? It goes in one specific way but can be put in backwards.

***what is the "actuator" you mentioned?

yes i replaced the orifice tube and put it in the same way that the original came out, the actuator is for the blend door.

Have you checked your vacuum system integrity (leaks) and the vacuum actuated heater core valve to be fully off and working properly?

If it is not closing you'll have hot coolant through the system sacrificing your cold air.

just checked vacuum, no leaks, there was a hose ran between the heater core arm and the actual heater core so now i have cold air but not strong

Doubt it would fluctuate as described, but is the heat diverter valve plugged in, and working? I’ve had issues in the past with semi-cool ac, but never quite gets cold. It can fluctuate a little iirc.

it was the heater core arm that closes off the heater core, it was obstructed by a hose, now i have cold ac, replaced the blower motor now too and it is blowing a bit harder but still not real hard.
