A/C issues
My truck is an 87 cclb 351 that came with ac. I put a motor in from an 96 or something like that that uses a serpentine system. I used a compressor for that year and bought all the stuff i thought i needed to convert it. it looks like the newer trucks use a high and low side switch where the 87 uses only one. high side i think. Im trying to adapt the 96 compressor using the one switch. Has anyone here tried doing this. Ill explain in more detail if anyone has tried

They have a high side cut out switch on the compressor area, just do not use it if you still have your OE wiring. Low switch at dryer cycles the compressor. You need it. Make sure to be rid of that early, large tube condenser. They are garbage for 134A. Use red orifice, 11oz oil (I much prefer PAO 68), and 38oz total of 134A. Enjoy cooled cabin.
