2009 screw rear map lights

2009 screw rear map lights
I can't seem to locate this info anywhere, so hopefully somebody can explain it to me.
Where do the rear map lights gets their power? The dome light works as it should. Nothing seems to make the map lights come on. Checking the wires at the connector, the dome light gets 12v when the doors are open. The other two wires are grounded. I would have thought the map light wire would be 12v also. This truck was a sheriff's vehicle so a bunch of the wiring is altered. I'm thinking maybe that's what I'm fighting. I can't find the right wiring diagram though to confirm it.
