2013 f250 steering issues
13 f250 6.7 290k ... Only had it for 20k but recently I've been having steering issues. When cold the power steering is spazmic. Wheel feels light like it should b then you can feel a dip in pressure the wheel jerks to one side or the other but you can counter steer and keep it straight. Then while counter steering it will surge the other direction and you have to counter the opposite way.. seemed to be better once warmed up. But I went for a 2 hour trip and about half way it did it once at 60mph.. nothing on the way back. Just went to the store and it did it right away and then as I was pulling back in.. power steering fluid is at normal level. I don't think it's power steering pump since there's still assist when it does it. So thinking gear box? I don't know how they work but I'm guessing b in there somewhere. No death wobble. And when it's not doing it out drives b straight down the road.... Hands free usually... Any ideas?
