Diablo Customer service sucks
I am very dissapointed with Diablo customer service. I sent my NEW Preditor back to have it reprogrammed, something which I read that I could have done via a download, it has been with them for three weeks. I was told by a rude receptionist that it was been mailed to me more than a week ago. Yesterday she told me that it had been mailed to me Tues. I asked to speak to the CEO and she said they didn't have one.
As soon as it comes back I intend to return it to my local supplier and purchase the Superchips product from Newhaven. Ken provides excellent customer service!

Sorry to hear you had trouble. I bought my Predator from Ken, but I have sent it to DiabloSport for an update already, and I just called them for the most recent one. I have had nothing but good luck with them so far.
One thing to remember is that you wouldn't even be talking about an update if you bought a SCMT, since they can't be updated.
I would like to see the ability to install updates from my computer. That is a feature that was promised, but hasn't materialized.

Right now they have hundreds of people getting upgrades, plus its the holidays and things get very busy. Consider that the upgrade is free, Superchips doesn't provide upgrades (they did for a month back in June and it was $200).
If you think getting shipments from Diablo is slow.... just try Superchips. Then you'll find out what slow is all about!

I too found the person that answers the phone sounds like she doesnt like her job. The first time I called to get an RA # to have my Predator re programmed she put me on hold for 27 minutes. I gave up and called back!!!! I do agree with Ken though on the time it takes to get it back. Tiss the season. Also, everyone who gets there Predator re programmed, beware, some guys are getting them back and they are having to call Diablo to get a password to program their trucks. Supposedly they are now sending out an instruction sheet with the re program telling you how to do it. I will find out if thats true when I get mine back. Hopefully soon, I hate driving it with the stock prugram.
Tunes are available via email files. Firmware updates aren't and you must send them in. This is a firmware update. The only reason they should get a password is if they didn't return the truck to orginal stock. There are two stock settings: the original stock, and one stock tune that is modified (for instance, you can change shift firmness). If they put the wrong "stock" tune it then its still locked and requires a reset.
Thanks Ken. I set mine back to factory stock so I should be ok. The two guys I talked to said they did that also but had to call Brian at Diablo to enter the new programs and Brian indicated that some of the first few they re programmed went out wrong or something and that they were including instructions..........who knows, all I know is I miss mine..............and you have been of great help by the way. I plan on buying more product on MotorHaven.com soon! Intake and exhaust system before towing season.....

. I was under the inpretion that I would be able to upgrade and also use a lap top to work with my truck.
