Dropping my truck off at an audio shop this morning to have an Infinity Basslink SM2 installed.
i installed a bracket to allow my back seat to fold down and was hoping to have them install the sub behind the seat where the factory subwoofer was mounted
havent found many good reviews on this thing but I’ve already bought it so…

has anyone else mounted one in their F250?
does it fit there behind the seat?
sound OK?
They sound decent. It won’t be heard much outside of the vehicle. So not a block beater haha

I did 3 JL Audio 10TW3s under my seat of the F350
Thanks for the response. I know it's not gonna rattle the windows. Just hoping for at least as good as the factory speakers. I upgraded those to JL Audio's earlier and there's no bass at all in them. Hoping this small woofer might bring me back closer to the factory bass levels.

Your box must not be proper airspace. Mine hits insane. Mine is a custom ported box we built.
I think he meant that he upgraded the factory door speakers to JL, maybe? Hard to tell. Your 3 10's look good. I had 1 JL 10W3 in my last F150 and it hit hard, I bet your 3 are astounding. Nice install. I'd like to think I'm past all of that but...you never know.

yes. My factory head unit went out so i installed a Sony head unit and swapped out the factory door speakers to JL Audio
i think the factory door speakers were tuned for more of a general listening style that produced a wide range of sound therefore making more base but not as good on the highs
the JL audios have almost no base so the Infinity is a powered woofer. I’m thinking it might make up for the bass i lost in the factory door speakers
