Has anyone bought the under seat storage compartments yet. I saw that Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops have them for alot of trucks including the new F-150. I have a 2004 Screw with the Audiophile system. I was wondering if the Sub would need to be taken out to mount the underseat storage compartments? On Cabela's web site they mention that the factory jack fits right in but no mention of the factory sub?
Actually, the under seat storage compartments come out to the edge of the seat, so more space is utilized. Go to Bass Pro's or Cabela's web site and you will see a picture of them with the seat down.
But with the Audiophile sub, you won't be able to put in any storage compartments. And taking it out will be a big waste of money (in my opinion). You may be better off getting some sort of toolbox for your bed. Good luck nonetheless.
Yeah, it does suck not having much room in the ext cab for stuff, lifting the seats doesn't give you any sort of flat surface to set stuff. I hate to throw dirty boxes or sharp stuff on the leather seats. Maybe I should just get a thick seat cover for the rear bench. I crammed a tow straps, some bungies, a spare key, and a water bottle in the jack area.
Yeah, this is one thing I don't like about my '05 scab. My 2000 scab had plenty of space under the rear seats, and the jack was under the passenger front seat instead.
Ya i found tow straps and stuff fit nicely under the seat opposite of the woofer. Luckily i have a snug top that locks so I just have a couple milk crates back there for misc items.
dont forget that you also have the area under your center seat if you have the fron bench seats. if you have the front captains chairs, then you wont have it, but if you have the front bench, the center seat just lifts right out of its place revealing a small storage area under there where you can fit more tow straps, bungies, or your firearm if you so please. i love it because it gets the stuff that you dont use very much out of the way.

I looked but could not find a way to pull up the center seat?
I see where there is a space but could not get access.
Is there a lever I'm not seeing?

Pull harder; it's there. The center seat in my '05 Supercrew XLT was really hard to pull out, but the bench in my buddy's '05 Supercab XL wasn't nearly as hard. At least I didn't hit my head against the ceiling on his truck like I hit my head against the overhead console in my truck. Once you break it loose the first time, it's easier to get to the rest of the way.
