2014 F150 Raptor spark plug removal
2014 F150 Raptor spark plug removal
Hey guys.... G'day from Sydney Australia. I'm looking for some advice regarding my 2014 F150 Raptor with 6.2L BOSS motor and Roush super charger. Please note this vehicle has been converted to Right Hand drive, which is what we do here in Australia. I put her in the shop the other day to have a new set of spark plugs fitted (as you know there is 16 of the damned things). My mechanic had no problem with 14 of the new plugs but he could not get access to the 2 plugs located beneath the supercharger snout. He says we need to remove the supercharger snout but can only access the two front bolts of the snout and cannot access the two rear bolts of the snout. There must be a way, but I can't see it. Urgent help needed.
Regards,
Steve

with how tight that supercharger is stuffed against the firewall im not surprised he is having issues accessing the bolts. based on pics i can only think of 2 solutions. unbolt the supercharger to get access or pull the cab. pulling the cab was fairly easy on my f250 when i did cylinder heads.
