Exclamation Godzilla questions ?

Has anyone used the new Edelbrock intake and Comp cams package? Do you have to lift the cab to swap the cam on the 7.3 ?

Tough call...You have to remove the heads to remove the cam and lifters.

Would it be possible to use wooden dowels and rubber bands to hold the lifters up and pull the cams?
I know that gets done a lot on in-line engines doing in frame jobs.

Went back and read the OP request, and if you're just replacing the cam, then you don't have to remove the heads. If replacing lifters then the heads have to come off.

Added video: Key part is to rotate cam to push the lifters up and the plastic tray holds them out of the way.
